OUR SERVICES

IEP Support

We support families and community members with educational planning, IEP reviews/consulting, community referrals, and workshops to equip families, communities, and schools with resources they need to support children with unique abilities.

Tutoring for PK-2nd Grade

Our school-aged programs provide literacy sessions that focus on closing reading gaps. Students will receive a reading assessment that will drive the level and type of support they receive while exposing them to strategy-based instruction for reading and writing.

Students with IEPs are highly encouraged to participate, as our goal is to close literacy and reading gaps. We offer a 4-week literacy-based summer camp for school-aged children, teaching students phonics, fluency, reading, writing, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.

Why L.E.A.D. Inc.? We Care!

L.E.A.D. Educate, Inc. began in 2012 with a passion for closing academic and behavioral gaps by providing compassionate, individualized support to children and families seeking a safe, nurturing environment where people genuinely care. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally—regardless of the challenges they face.

At the core of our mission is a strong commitment to the Derricks of the world. Derrick was a child with significant learning challenges, including ADHD and an emotional behavioral disorder. His life, though far too short, serves as a lasting reminder of the children who are often overlooked, misunderstood, or labeled as “too difficult.” Derrick’s untimely passing at age 11 fuels our determination to advocate for and support children who are considered “the least of these.”

L.E.A.D. INC. AT A GLANCE

L.E.A.D. Inc. knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2012 when our Non-Profit Organization was created, our goal was to create an educational experience for a small population of children. Now, more than ever, we realize how important it is to not only support the child but also the family and the community in which they live. As a result, L.E.A.D. Inc. understands that "Leading well is not about enriching yourself, it's about empowering others." - John C. Maxwell
